The mood of first-pumping, trve heavy metal flame, a combination of Iron Maiden and Dio, remains on this record as it did on their excellent previous work. Solid and adventurous songwriting which keeps you energized to move from song to song, great instrument tone, and thank the metal gods for those soaring vocals, both lead and spine-tingling backing harmony. Favorite track: Wolfen.

sachavonkarl74 I am a big fan of their "Where Madness Dwells" album (apart for the art cover) but it is one of those you need to listen to a few more times and it gets better and better each time. It is still as EPIC as and powerful, no doubt about it. A compilation of old and new work, still speedy and clearly shows how far IF has come. I would recommend that you don't start with this album if you're new to them, but hey, free country after all. You better appreciate the evolution of the band IMHO. Favorite track: Visions in Flames.

IAmRevEvil IRONFLAME!!!! This band slaps. Their name on the album is all I need to buy it. Favorite track: Queen of Thorns.
